Comments by "Reecom98" (@reecom9884) on "MAGA infighting erupts over immigration visas: ‘It's the collision of greed and hatred'" video.
Its weird that the MAGA movement comprised the greedy corporate billionaires and blue-collar white trailer park crowd. The corporate billionaires use H1B visas to import highly educated workers, that they don’t have to pay for higher education and pay them US rates that is multiple times what they would make in their own countries. The H1B worker can only stay in the US if the company renews the H1B. If they stay long enough, they can apply for a “Green Card” and don’t need the H1B to stay in the US like Elon Musk did and then apply for US citizenship.

MAGA doesn’t want to allow highly educated immigrants into the US, yet they want to disband the US Department of Education that supports education for the young people living in the US.

@Duude125 If you look at other countries where the level of education has increased, it’s because of the culture and not the money. Foreign students still flock to US universities, it’s the lower schools that need help. Are you suggesting we abandon the education system and not compete with the rest of the world for jobs?

@Duude125 . Your idea is like "Throwing the baby out with the bathwater" an idiom to discard something valuable or important while trying to get rid of something unwanted, essentially making a mistake by rejecting the good along with the bad; it means to not be careful to separate the positive aspects from the negative ones when making a decision

@Duude125 The US Department of Education have improved access to education and the opportunities. As of 2022, approximately 50 million children had access to public education. Other cultures have less access to education then US schools and parents pay for their children's education after public school by paying for private “Cram” school after the regular school.

@Duude125 “A federal court approved a $25 million settlement with students who said they were duped by Donald Trump and his now-defunct Trump University…”6 Feb 2018 NBC News. The US Department of Education is far from perfect, but it’s better than the con artist trying to make money from the poor.

@Duude125 Show your source for the education data or is this just your opinion without proof.
