Over turning Trump's conviction would have to be based on either a wrong interpretation of New York law or the judge’s handling of the trial. It would be difficult to over rule the conviction by a higher court.

@wyskass861 The US Supreme Court can’t rule on state laws that don’t involve the violation of the US Constitution. State criminal laws can go up to the individual state supreme court for interpretation of the individual state. The federal courts are separate from state courts that is why there is no double jeopardy in being charge in both courts for the same illegal act.

@ZagiBob If you think that US Supreme Courts doesn’t adhere to the US Constitution, them there is no hope. You may not like their interpretation of the US Constitution, but there was enough wiggle room for their interpretation. To change what is happening by the GOP MAGA is through the ballot box and not by violence or insurrection by a few.

The US Congress has the right to impeach a US Supreme judge for violating the office. In 1805 the House of Representatives passed Articles of Impeachment against Associate Justice Samuel Chase; however, he was acquitted by the Senate.
