Putin’s lies keeps on coming. The Russian official news media said that they cancelled the flyover because of bad weather, under sunny skies over Red Square. In the 2015 Victory day parade they were to show case their new A-14 Armada tank, which broke down during a rehearsal and had to be towed. In this years Victory day parade they were to have a flyover with their new II-80 Doomsday plane; maybe it also broke down like the rest of the Russia hardware in Ukraine.

The Russian state news said that the entire crew of the Moskva was evacuated and saved. The Russian state news said the same thing when the nuclear submarine Kursk sank in 2000.

@colindavis1496 Were you there? They showed the whole parade and it was a nice day with 5 mph reported winds. You are guessing about the lightning storm.

@colindavis1496 The weather was nice and there was no bad weather and Putin lied. I agree that I just guessing as to why Putin lied very openly to the world on a very simple matter. He could have just said that it was cancelled, instead of making such an obvious lie to the world.

@colindavis1496 If Putin keeps obviously lying, no world leader can believe what he says, that is the problem for a country with nuclear weapons. The West can not afford to guess Putin's intentions, that is why both Finland and Sweden, traditionally neutral countries, are planning on joining NATO for protection against a neighboring country who‘s leader constantly lies.

@colindavis1496 The former WARSAW Pact countries chose to joint NATO and not stay in a pact with Russia under a Russian Dictator. It takes all NATO members to vote, not just the US. Each NATO member has an equal vote. The US doesn't control NATO like the Putin controls Russia. If the nukes are used, Russia will also be destroyed and the 30+ NATO forces, along with the EU and France with it's own nukes, will retaliate. Basically, Russia stands alone.
