In the US Airways fight 1549 it had the altitude, time and Capt Sullenberger’s forethought to turn on the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) before he lost battery power with only the Ram-Air-Turbine (RAM) for electrical power before losing all flight control power; the business jet was too low and didn‘t have the time when they lost both engines.
