  1. Trump’s former head of the Department of Energy was Rick Perry, the former Governor of Texas, in an interview he said that Texans would chose blackouts rather then regulate the Texas power grid. I guess the Texas motto is “Give me no Regulation or give me Death“. Rick was the same guy on Dancing with the Stars (he lost).

  2. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) controls about 90% of the state’s electricity. They are 15 members. One third or 5 members voting members do not live in Texas, and one lives in Canada. ERCOT was enacted by the GOP.
