  1. With that amount of traffic, most of the hotels and motels outside of the hurricane landfall will be booked. Unless you have relatives, you’ll be either sleeping in your vehicles in a parking lot or on a cot in a large arena with a hundred other people.

  6.  @Musicman-y7v  Yes, for some reason there are more RV dealers in the South than in the North. But most of the RVs I’ve seen in the South on the roads have Northern license plates.
