Taking the 5th must be applied to every specific question that is asked and can not be used as a “Blanket Coverage” to cover all question asked. If he takes the 5th for a question that has no incrimination on his part or violation of law, he can be held in contempt or if Congress gives him limited immunity and he still refuses to answer.
