Both VP Pence and Secretary Esper wore dark suits and somber colored ties when visiting the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Trump wore his flashy blue suit with his red tie; it appears his chief of staff didn’t tell him about protocol. If you look at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier ceremony the people in the background most had black face mask on.
