Prosecutors do this all the time before they are required to give the defense discovery information. This is done to keep grand jury information from being use to intimidate a witness. The protective order will be a detail list of items provided by the prosecutors to the defense that can not be made public. If Trump breaks this protective order his bail can be revoked for not following the conditions of his bail and can be incarcerated until his trial.
