Law school graduates who enter public service are either doing it to gain future political office or not been offered positions in the private sector because of their law school academic records. The prosecutors got played by the high price defense attorneys!

@Smidgen-x4i The high price defense attorneys knew the law. They waited until the jury was seated to bring up the hidden evidence. Once seated the judge couldn't make the jury wait until the defense could investigate the hidden evidence, so the judge had to dismiss the charges. Ms. Morrissey knew she missed up and didn't blame the judge. The judge always asked both sides if they are ready for trial to allow for a speedy trial.

@Smidgen-x4i If that were true, the prosecutor would have asked for a stay of execution and gone to the appellate court!
