  1. Japan has the world’s most ageing population with rapidly declining birth rate. Japan hasn’t the manpower to invade other countries unless they invent autonomous military robots to occupy territory.

  2.  @williammagnusson8394  In the video it said Japan was expanding from a self defense force beyond it's needed force to match NATO requirements of matching % of GNP.

  3.  @williammagnusson8394  No. They are not just for self defense or being neutral. Sweden is no longer a neutral country since joining NATO. Japan like Sweden will send soldiers outside of their country's borders beyond self defense.
