The Russian tourists in the Crimean Peninsular were told if they want to return to Russia they would have to drive through the combat zone along the Sea of Azov north to the land bridge back to Russia; a fun summer holiday.

Putin shot himself in the foot when he blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam. The Russian southern front line had the least amount of fortified trenches. He thought that flooding the area would prevent Ukraine from attacking in the south and save some money since it would be easy to be re-supplied by the Kerch Bridge. His hubris was that the Kerch bridge could never be destroyed, now the Russian southern front is becoming the longest logistical re-supply link on the chain and Crimea is about to be taken back.

@MeazaAweke-oz8np It's only a matter of time when it will be attacked again as soon as Ukraine receives the US ATACMS that make it in range of conventional weapons and not just attacked by specialized drones.

@bigtony4829 Putin has shut down the civilian ferries and ban civilian aircraft and is only allowing military traffic. If the Russian tourists want to go home, they have to drive.

@Milanfan-g3w Russian companies because of the sanctions are banned in the West. When the sanctions hit, instead of returning the leased Western airplanes, large industrial equipment, and other leased equipment they kept them.
