Based on the location, in a clean known area of the Titanic debris field, and the size of the Titan debris field and parts of the Titan found, the submersible imploded way before any sonar buoy was deployed to detect sounds in the water early in the rescue mission.

@chaseorvis2828 The implosion shock wave would have pegged their sonar buoy by the cavity of vessel collapsing in milliseconds. The crew was dead before the search for them began.
