  2.  @neutronalchemist3241  The 2A28 “Grom” cannon taken from a BMP is a direct fire weapon with minimum elevation. To use it as an artillery gun is useless. To use it to reinforce a fix trench line without armor protection for the gunner against small arms fire is also useless. The time it took to setup the gun would make them "Cannon Fodder"!

  3.  @neutronalchemist3241  The cannon isn’t portable and requiring multiple soldiers to moved it along the trench line, unlike a heavy machine gun. The ring turret of the 2A28 “Grom” cannon would stick-out of the trench fortified position, making it easily seen by a FPV “Kamikaze” drone.

  4.  @neutronalchemist3241  If you watch the published videos the Russians haven’t reinforced any of their trench lines or have camouflaged their guns adequately for concealment. The artillery units that they have aren’t in reinforced position and only poorly camouflaged alone the tree line. The cannon is a direct fire gun with a short range.

  7.  @neutronalchemist3241  I never said “ALL the Russian trenches had been passed…”, the Russians only used “Dragon Tooth” barriers, barbwire, tank ditches and unreinforced dirt trenches because of lack of Russian military engineering battalion; they rely on assault troops mostly.
