  1. The weak point in modern tanks is the top. The Russian drone hit the top at the back where the Abrams tank blow-out panel for the ammo is located. The internal blast door held long enough for some of the crew to escape. The tank loader position located next to the blast door might not have made it; a Russian tank would have blown off its turret killing the whole crew.
