  1. The construction crew filling pot holes in the bridge road had almost no chance with only slow moving construction vehicles to get off the bridge as the container ship was heading for the bridge.

  2.  @danielleisrael  The police closed the bridge a couple of minutes after the Mayday, the bridge crew wasn't in radio contact with the police and didn't know what was happening and only had minutes.
