  1. SO I just bought a 2023 Tacoma ... They put extended warranty for 3,997 dollars for 7 years / 100.000 Miles warranty from the standard 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty .... Then they had 900 GAP insurance . I declined GAP and eventually got the 7/100k Extended warranty for 1495.00 ... I actually believe now that the extended warranty is totally negociable and is used as a " Bonus " bargaining for the dealership and they could probably give that away if needed to make a sale . I went from 3997.00 to being offered extended warranty at 2495.00 to I Offered them 1 k and they came back with 1495.00 . So it must be totally negotiable . I felt that I was satisfied that for 1495 .00 I got a 7 year / 100k mile warranty bumper to bumper warranty . I love my Toyota Tacoma and that's a lot more years of coverage for 1495.00 ...I think that was fair and apparently the dealership did also
