  1.  @darrenmonks4532  the ancient Greeks did for a while. I think some other ancient societies also. It was a battle of Champions. One chosen from each side. Sometimes it was the king sometimes it wasn't.

  2.  @ВладиславВладислав-и4ю  some of the so-called experts think so because of Russia's big size and that it rules a lot of smaller ' republics' many of which have their own language and culture. These same so-called experts claim that Russia has to have a strong authoritarian ruler or else it would splinter into a bunch of independent sometimes feuding States. There are actually Western politicians who would not like to see this happen because they think it would make the world even more unstable.

  10.  @wilsonnzowa3620  you are so full of it. Like I said NATO did not start the Ukrainian War no matter how much you want to spin it. Putin's man did not win the election in Ukraine so he decided he had to invade so he could have his man running Ukraine. Just like in Belarus. Ask just about any citizen that is living in a former Warsaw Pact country if they want to be under Russian control again. They would tell you HELL NO!
