  1. I'm finally glad that ABC finally reported some news about the war in Ukraine for a change. They still had a lot of fluffy, shallow celebrity news but not as bad as usual. This time it actually served a useful purpose of promoting more cancer awareness.

  2. I think most people outside of Ukraine do have sympathy for the victims. After all the things Russia has done to Ukraine, their attitude is very understandable. The reason why people are concerned about the torture is because of the brutality of the way it was carried out. Supposedly one guy had his ear cut off and was forced to eat it. Another had his eye poked out and the guy in the wheel chair was reported to be totally unconscious in other countries media. Torture is usually not that reliable anyway because the victim will say anything they think the tormentors want to hear. There are other more effective ways to interrogate prisoners. Torture is just a way to bully people and release anger or sadistic tendencies. As far as I know, they haven't actually been proven guilty yet by law. Nobody Imho should ever have to go through the hell of ISIS style terrorism especially if they are unarmed civilians out for a peaceful night of harmless entertainment. If l'm not up to date on this let me know.
