  1. Yeah he was definitely projecting. Before this "special military operation "most people in the US, I would imagine, didn't think about Russia one way or another. Some were even trying to speak well of them. Even I for awhile didn't think they were all that bad. But Putin changed that. Many Americans at the beginning of this invasion didn't even know where Ukraine was. The animosity shown towards Russia today was brought on by Russia through its own actions.
