  2.  @feffygracie  because Putin has stated himself that he wants all the Old Warsaw Pact countries under his control. That means the Baltic states,: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Eastern Germany. That has been his goal since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

  8. War sometimes can be profitable and sometimes it can be expensive. Usually the latter. It becomes profitable if you're the seller of armament and the banker of the deal like the US was in WWII. Most of our Wars since then have been costly.
