  1.  @enemyofthestatewearein7945  yeah those are classic propaganda techniques to try to fool the enemy. Yeah Prigoshen is also an oligarch. I somewhat think Putin is more akin to Trump than Prigoshen. In my opinion they are both narcissistic. I haven't quite yet figured out how to label yevgeny prigozhin.

  4. Thanks Jake for adding some logical analysis to help clear some of the confusion. I know some of it is speculation but it does make sense. But it's Russia who knows? What is the new source of confusion is I thought Putin had control of the FSB and that was how he was able to maintain and stay in power. I agree with Julie Berlin about putting more pressure on to Russia. I hope that message gets taken seriously by President Biden. And some ways if evgeny Prigoshen becomes president of Russia he may be even worse than Putin as improbable as that may have seemed a year-and-a-half ago. What a crazy country! To paraphrase Otto von Bismarck never trust the Russians because they can't trust themselves. Another paraphrase by Bismarck, never fight with Russians. On your every stratagem they will answer with unpredictable stupidity.

  6.  ReichwingConspirator  yeah I have felt the same way at times. That the leadership of both countries screwed that up. It really would have been beneficial for both countries. I think the end of the Cold War took both countries by surprise and they really did not know how to properly cope with it.
