@Old Bagira I keep hearing Russians talk about the genocide in the Donbas but I haven't seen any evidence of it. All the pictures I saw before this war started that area looked fine. Absolutely saw no sign of persecution or genocide.

This administration's border policy is really screwed up. They won't let people and who are trying to seek political Asylum because they're afraid for their lives and yet let droves of people in who just want a better job. I'm sure they could get some of the same jobs in their own country.

@U.N Forces Alx Russian instability during the 1990s Was a concern actually to the we didn't know where there Arsenal might end up. Probably to the highest bidders Whoever that might be. No telling where the could have gone. Maybe some terrorist groups or some organized crime faction, Who knows? It made the world a potentially a more dangerous place. Sure we considered the Soviet Union to be a threat to us and I imagine they felt the same way about us, But at least we know that the Soviet Union Knew what was in their best interest and that was to avoid a nuclear war. Both sides would have been destroyed And possibly the rest of the world also. A possible and very potendual mass extension event.

I don't think so. That would give the Russians a justification and motivation to fight. The russian Need to get rid of Pootin themselves. I am not holding my breath they will do that anytime soon though. Like all fascist, they believe they exist for the benefit of the state solely. They are servants of the state instead of the state being the servant of the individual citizens at large.

How could he have avoided it? Ukraine was attacked. When Zelinsky was elected, evidently Putin was going to invade regardless. He proved that by his actions. He wanted an obedient lacky as president of Ukraine.

@LordRykard9376 yeah but Russia's done everything to Drive Ukraine more and more towards the West. They have alienated a population that was once very close to them and even had relatives in Russia. They have turned on what was could be considered cousins in a sense and made them enemies. What was the sense in that?
