@sunilghaju1864 and why do you think they wanted to join NATO? What the be cool or something? They have very strong cultural ties to Russia but Russia has alienated them. Just look at Stalin what he did to the ukrainians.

@dr.shaileshchaudhari1996 yeah he has a few points. Some of his fears are understandable. But don't be fooled uses them for his own selfish motives. He has finally revealed who he really is and what he is after. Even though he had mentioned it and hinted at it before, a lot of people ignored it because at times I guess he can be quite charming and flashy.

@dr.shaileshchaudhari1996 and so was Russia aim that Europe and the US. Both sides were involved in a cold war. But fortunately for the world at that time both sides realized that Total War would destroy everything. Good Sense prevailed over raw emotion. Putin has appears to have no such fear or sense.

@andrewilson8096 don't worry they will eventually because they will be crushed. However Russia will have a hell of a time trying to pacify them. They could be facing a guerrilla War and terrorist attacks.

@rico200168 the key word is if. NATO would not want to unless it was absolutely they thought necessary as a very last resort. Even then there would be a lot of reluctance because wake up people a full nuclear war is going to destroy Humanity! Plus there would be chemical and biological weapons Unleashed also. Not to mention a reputable damage to the worldwide biome. You talking about a mass extinction event for all of humanity!

@sunilghaju1864 well can you blame him. That's where the money was and he felt safer and trusted NATO more than Russia. Quite frankly I'm shocked that Putin would actually do this. Well I guess we know he wasn't bluffing. There could have been a better way. And let's not put all the blame on the victim Ukraine. Putin whether he believes it or not helped create the expansion of NATO. A lot of Americans had gotten tired of it and having to pay for it and wanted European nations just to take care of themselves but Putin because of his Reckless expansionism and extreme nationalism has United NATO like never before.
