  4. You should have added Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and Arkansas as part of the South. Y'all is used all over the South. He forgot to mention how Southerners like to leave off the G sound at the end of words. He didn't mention the fact that fixin' is often used to mean I'm about ready to go somewhere as I'm fixing to go to the store, I'm about ready to do something as in I'm fixin' to wash my car, and generally softer vowels with the emphasis on the letter A which is very pronounced. It's sort of kind of rhymes with hey but I might could be wrong.🙃 and finally what do Yankees have against grits and if some of them are open-minded enough to try it why do they use milk and sugar with it like it's cream of wheat. Grits should be eaten with butter salt and pepper and I like to add a little garlic powder to it.
