  2. It actually makes some good military sense to attack the power structure. Sure it affects civilians but it also affects the government of the area and it's ability to communicate. It won't win many friends though. If Russia did it though as retaliation for the counter attack then they're acting like a bunch of spoiled brats. What did they expect when they invaded Ukraine. They should have expected that something like this was possible in a war do unto others as you would have others do unto you because if you don't they very well may do unto you what you did unto them.

  8.  @djminos2759  if you did leave out the word do, then I guess if you didn't do unto them what they did to you, then some people would call that forgiveness and taking the higher ground and a more emotionally mature attitude. People people don't have to take revenge that is their personal choice but if they take the choice of Revenge they leave themselves open for a cycle of Revenge and counter Revenge. Somewhat like the Family Feud of the Hatfield and McCoys on the West Virginia Kentucky border. That Feud went on for Generations until eventually they started intermarrying. Now they have picnics together celebrating the the start of the feud. Weird.

  9.  @jonny-b4954  I wonder if full mobilization and conscripting 18 to 22-year-olds would go well in St Petersburg and Moscow. I've read there's strong nationalist who are very much for this war but I wonder if that age group is and they will be the one doing most of the fighting. If Russia's not careful they could lose an entire generation.
