  4. That's well put explanation. I can see and understand why Russia would see a NATO presence in the Ukraine a threat after what Napoleon and Hitler did to Russia. I guess maybe the best solution would be for the Ukraine to be neutral but it would have to have assurance from Russia it would respect Ukrainian sovereignty. It would have to be something convincing too and not just lip service.

  5. That's not a bad idea. You may see NATO as an American Tool but I don't think the Europeans want to get rid of it. They have their fears of Russia too, especially with Putin's nationalism. He is not the most trustworthy individual in the world.
