@DK-ev9dg well they do have a large border to defend that is shared among many very politically unpredictable countries. So that may make sense I'll have to check that out.

@dimitrisgregan553 I saw a video that was filmed in donbas, I don't remember the name of the City because I'm not familiar with them, but it looked like it was in good shape and people were driving around the Town waving Russian Flags. Later on the reporter found the guy that they were interviewed who was happy that the Russians were there and he now was supporting the ukrainians because of the massive destruction to their land by the Russian army. I think it might have been an Indian video but I'm not sure.

@newworldorder5044 well that could be a possibility. We shall see only time will tell. VIadolf Putler does seem to be fairly resilient. You could very well be right but who knows for sure?

@gsimon123 I agree. Couldn't have said it better myself.

@ngrader that is laughable when you consider Russia has only one source of information which is staunchly controlled by Putin. We in the US have access to multiple sources from all over the world. Who would you think would be more likely to figure out the truth?

That is very imaginative and creative. That could be a good sci-fi movie. Kind of like the old classic The Day the Earth Stood Still. What are you smoking?

I think those ukrainians use a different system. I think their reports include troops who may have surrendered and others that may have deserted and include killed and injured as one. So that's why the Press takes their reports with a grain of salt.

@stateofopportunity1286 that could be. It makes sense. It would provide jobs but it also cost money spend money on the military without selling some of it overseas.

@a2thek914 I've looked at different websites at from different countries and I have yet to see any proof of any genocide of campaign in donbas or wherever. The one I did see the town looked fine and they were interviewing a pro-russian and cars were driving around waving Russian flag and then later the same reporter found the person he interviewed earlier and he no longer supportive Russia but hated them. He was pulling for Ukraine. You've got to be blind if you can't see that it's the Russians that are committing genocide.

@Blazerfan11 not really Putin himself has stated that he wanted to recreate the old Soviet sphere of influence.

I still think that Russia has Ukraine outmanned and outgunned and will probably win but it may very well be a pyrrhic victory.

@heifaramurat that makes no sense whatsoever that we should be held responsible. We're not the ones fighting. We're not the ones who were doing the shelling. We've gone out of our way not to intervene except with with Aid but both countries have been doing that to each other since the end of WWII. It is expected and understood they will do so. It's all part of the game.

It's never wise to underestimate an opponent.

He is definitely a bully but he's not a coward. He proved that on the night of the fall of the Berlin Wall. He has guts.

Oh but Russian state-controlled media under the thumb of Putin tells the truth?🤣
