  13.  @yakivpopavich  yeah yeah I hope he has a good lawyer and maybe he can go to a higher court of appeal if there was any wrong doing in the court procedure. It would be fascinating to be a lawyer for some of these accused, because if you won the case or happened to get a reduced sentence for your client then your law career would take off like a rocket and you would become a rich man because everybody would want to hire you and pay you big money for your representation. You might not be popular with a lot of people but you would end up wealthy. I don't know the full details of this case, if the victim was offering no resistance and was obviously unarmed that would be a very difficult case for a lawyer to win or even get a reduced sentence for his client. I don't know how the appeal system works in Ukraine or how good a lawyer this kid had but it will be interesting to see if he does get an appeal.

The way he handled that crisis though by giving Nikita Khrushchev an out so he could save face was a stroke of Genius. Later on both sides we're able to negotiate to where we took our nukes out of Turkey and Russia took theirs out of Cuba. Both sides were able to guarantee their security then.
