Thats false equivalence and thus illogical
2
Ai can filter it out and go around it.
2
This malware is pointless. Current ai models just need screenshots of said art to learn. They just need a bot that screen captures stuff and then have it flow into the training data. Ai will win because it can evolve faster then people can.
2
Well no. Ai already has ways of getting around it. Especially with advancements of IRL active learning from actual seeing ai.
2
@purplehandle no. Because parody/fair use is not illegal. Expansions upon someone elses work is legal so long as its not a 1:1 image
2
@purplehandle no actually its not. So long as the ai does not replicate the art piece in a 1:1 match, then you have no claim to it.
2
@purplehandle its not theft lmao. Otherwise seeing and learning from other art pieces to make your own art would be illegal. It is protected by fair use. Whats illegal is direct recreation of art pieces that belong to others and passing them off as your own. Whats not illegal is making a new piece from an old piece. Wether its a person or ai.
2
Wont work because ai can work around it. Ai is currently advancing to the point to where it can create art from screen shots or from IRL images. Ai will win because ai is better then people.
2
@skyhunterrhythe5674 no. You dont have to do anything.
1
@skyhunterrhythe5674 no you dont. They posted the image online, thus if i am free to look at it and learn from it, then so is ai
1
@skyhunterrhythe5674 yes actually you can. Its called parody and or fair use. If its not a 1:1 copy, it falls under that protection. Thus ai that doesn’t do a 1:1 replication is also ok. Just as the courts have already been ruling.
1
@skyhunterrhythe5674 thats what parody means in the english language. That is NOT what parody means under law. Parody is the changing and adaptation of a source of art so that is not like the original. And thus it is its own thing and does not belong to the copyright of the original source. Edit: the way Ai makes art. Is it identical to how humans create art. Dont believe me? Then create a color and a shape that have never been seen before.
1
@Signiake294 um. Bing ai is FREE 🙃
1
All you need is a screenshot of said art for the ai to train on now. 🤷♂️ nothing you can do
1
@novacorponline better that then malware. Plus theres tons of upscaling softwares that exist. Since you are replying in the current year, you should realize that from the 5 months to now, shade has not worked.
1
@purplehandle legally there is no difference. If change to the original piece is all thats required then ai is fine. Go cope with your morals elsewhere
