Because life has value and preservation of life is an inherently good thing.

False. They make clear and objective arguments in thus video

@txlyons2937 i see our issue. You believe being born is being forced into existence. I don’t see it that way
5
@txlyons2937 to create the child inherently benefits the child as it allows the child to exist. Everything benefits more then just one person. Like think about it logically. If having a child didnt help the parent at all, then people would never have kids as all beings and creatures of earth are selfish and would not go through such pain if it amounted to nothing.
4
@txlyons2937 yeah ok. But you cant ask a non-existent being for consent. So your idea falls apart. Also again if life is as bad as you say it is, then why are you still here? Clearly life must mean something to you. Which in turn means your own existence debunks your entire ideology.
4
@txlyons2937 but based on your logic i would have never been born and life would never exist. I enjoy living and find it deeply offensive that you believe i and no one else should exist. Thus based on basic moral principles your position is objectively wrong and objectively doesn’t reduce suffering but actually makes it worse
4
No no it doesnt
4
Tell that to every living thing that has existed since the dawn of life.
3
@kvinccc suffering is neither good nor bad. It is just life. Nit having a latte every 5 hours is considered suffering by California standards. Stop trying to become a god and promote anti human ideas.!
2
@kvinccc we are not gods. Suffering is not good or bad and it does bother last forever. The events that shape our lives are simply part of the hero’s journey, to see if we will rise above and become great. And then either we fail or we succeed, pass on our know to our kids and pass beyond the veil. That is life for all beings since the dawn of life itself.
2
@kvinccc you dont and cant solve life. Based on your own logic all life shouldnt exist. All life knew or knows starvation and suffering. Suffering is a fundamental part of the universe itself and utopias cannot exist.
2
@kvinccc you are nothing but a deluded antilife utopian who deny the fundamental truth of reality
2
It is not the future as there will be no future
2
The nationalist socialists were founded on compassion. Compassion is NOT an inherently good thing and infact it often is an inherently BAD thing.
2
No its not. Antinatalism is collectivist as it incentivizes a collective group to all agree on never having kids. Ideas cant exist and flourish if there is no group or collective behind it at all
2
Because that’s impossible without modern industry which can only be supported by large populations
2
@CactusCowboyDan except in recent scientific breakthroughs in physics, its suggested that reality requires conscious observation in order for subatomic particles to pick a state of being. Meaning either A: human existence is paramount to the universe or B: gods are real in which case you are an anti-natalist sinner who will be punished
2
Well good. You sound like an entitled narcissist who was no compassion or drive
1
@kvinccc being against the human condition and solving it by destroying human life and prevent the existence of human life is not only anti-human. But shows you have the hubris to think that you know better then others. You dont.
1
@kvinccc pain is a fact of life. Its not anti human to say that humans should exist and that life is painful. Its anti human to say that people shouldnt exist because “muh pain”
1
@kvinccc heck. My existence itself fundamentally disproves your own argument
1
Meat and animal products are key for human brain development and muscle maintenance. Veganism is bad and is inherently detrimental to the environment
1
@txlyons2937 but i would care because i care now and i cared then. I believe in the human spirit and that i was predestined to exist to bring goodness to this world. I suppose someone who lives in nothing but a vat of heartless darkness couldn’t understand that.
1
@Dragumix because then based in your logic, murder would not be wrong
1
@CactusCowboyDan but if theres no people, how so we make robots?
1
@CactusCowboyDan and? Theres no human experience. The universe might as well not exist if we ate not here to interact with it
1
@CactusCowboyDan thats incorrect. The theory expressly states “conscious observation is required for subatomic particles to pick a state of being, wherein reality itself needs observation, otherwise no state of matter could exist” -Harvard Phd.
1
@CactusCowboyDan i never said i wanted you punished, all i said is that you would be, because you are anti-life.
1
@CactusCowboyDan #1 yes i have. It expressly states in every study that “If we live in an information theoretic universe, it seems that the universe would need to be conscious or have conscious observers in order to hold or actualize the intricate mathematical meaning of the physical world.” #2 so? Evolution has never been proven as a definitive fact, yet it very evidently is true. How is this any different #3 its not just harvard, i just happened to use a quote from harvard
1
Gnostism is false and illogical
