@ztnep_3670 it has nothing to do with any law or any system. Its just corporate warfare

Its not trivial Also patents can be filed any time any place anywhere.

@Lurker_Z wrong. Thats not how patents work

@Lurker_Z doesnt matter. Thats not how patents work

@TheGabrielryu it literally doesnt. Even countries like the soviet union and Venezuela had or have patent laws. Its just state owned instead of individual owned.

@Jaegar19Ultima-u9d anyone who can patent anything should do it just to do it. Ever heard of patent trolling?

The fact people are freaking out over this is insane. Literally no one aknowledges the last 300 years of patent competition. This will pass, it means nothing cause if it did yall would have been just as freaked out over CODs camera patents and WB rivval patent. But you werent
3
@Plish472 that sounds kinda gay, why you calling me a funny boy?
2
@gogereaver349 patents are first come first serve. So if you file late you can retroactively enforce. Thats the point of a patent
2
@notladnstuff7976 no. A monoply would be a large % share of a market. Control over specific mechanisms is not a monopoly. Otherwise every industrial product would be a monopoly.
2
@dave24-73 its not trivial. Its already been patented by njntendo in japan and will be patented by nintendo in america in the mext momth

@dave24-73 yes. But musical chords are not the same as specific video fame actions like throwing a ball
1
@dave24-73 except the implications arent. You should have been more outraged of CODs camera movement patents than this. Lmao
1
@notladnstuff7976 but they cant patent every game mechanic and even if they did it would only last 30 yrs
1
@gogereaver349 the point of a patent is to be as broad as possible. You clearly dont know patent history
1
@gogereaver349 you have no idea what you are talking about, because if you did you would realize that the key component to the internet and all modern digital appliances success, is patented software. What you are arguing would result in a permanent technological decline in which no one could own the code they write
