@waynrbunyea7059 it’s all under the name vigilantism. Any action of a citizen that is used to enforce the law or to distribute justice is vigilantism. Anything from a citizens arrest to killing someone for “justice” is vigilantism. So vigilantism is entirely legal it’s just that some things that vigilantes do is illegal. Midwifing someone, not so legal. Citizen arrest, perfectly legal.

Vigilantism is never mentioned in the law as illegal, simply actions taken by vigilantes such as killing is illegal. Laws are negative meaning that unless it’s expressly written to be illegal, it is perfectly legal. And since no law has ever been passed expressly outlawing the act of being a vigilante, it is perfectly legal
