@widecat1404 if you watch his video. He literally says he doesnt know when a youtube channel could be big enough for it to be argued in court wether it falls under FCC jurisdiction. He never claims that it did indeed broke the law. All he said was, was that it met the criteria but wether the FCC rules applies to large channels bigger then TV stations is unknown.

@Am-uj6qn cherry picking and cutting out certain claims.

Exactly

@Bad-Seed because he can? Why are you offering your opinion?

Upper echelon did NOT claim that the youtube video broke the law. He said that since MR beasts channel is so big that it could maybe fall under FCC jurisdiction if a court found it so. Thus he would have broke the law IF the question as to whether he falls under their jurisdiction is answered.

Upper Echelon, bonjour

@Bad-Seed you clearly dont understand what an opinion is. You are stating an opinion. Your opinion is that people shouldn’t comment opinions on things they arent “masters” of. Which TBH seems very hypocritical i must say

@rexrex429 wrong. If you watch uppers video you would realize that legal is being disingenuous and intentionally cutting out what he said. He never said that it DID break the law. He said that IF mr beasts channel is big enough to maybe fall under FCC jurisdiction then it would. But he makes it clear that he does not know if it applies and that its up to the courts to determine if it does.

@rexrex429 🤦♂️ You didnt even read my comment Edit: also you are wrong. A simple google search shows thats yes FCC rules apply to cable TV.
2
@rexrex429 “the FCC regulates cable network licensing, prices, as well as channel numbers since the 1980s when the 1984 cables communications act was passed” -Tom wheeler 2015 They do not regulate content but are still in charge of cable networks. So fundamentally your statement is wrong

@Bad-Seed so people shpuldnt have opinions and shouldnt express opinions and or theories? Then why do you comment in this comment section
1
@Bad-Seed you said “if he doesnt know x, then why is he offering opinion on x” Thus if that is your question, it can be inferred that your personal opinion is that if people dont know x they shouldnt speak of x. Thus yes, you did state an opinion, just not directly
