  3. I've been reading feminism and reaction to it for decades. Perry's argument is nothing new, just the latest flavor. Certainly there are bits of truth. Anyone, including men, who lived through the sexual revolution, as it is simplistically called, knows it wasn't one great, smashing success. But if one looks closely at Perry's whole thesis, they will find great gaps, particularly in her scientific claims about the differences between the sexes. We still haven't passed an ERA in America, women still don't equal men in the salary department or representation in the various halls of power. So, the Perry's of the world notwithstanding, feminism will continue, hopefully smarter.

  4. Russia (a superpower?) has been fought to a standstill by Ukraine, Putin's international stature is in tatters along with the military's reputation, NATO has new members and is stronger than ever. I call that a slam dunk win for US interests.

  11. Women haven’t reached anything close to equality, but everyone’s whining about men’s rights. Last time I looked the worlds religions, most governments and a vast percentage of corporations were run by men. Load of rubbish.

Slither, you mean sliver, of men in power; 66% of elected governmental jobs, 75% of Fortune 500 CEOs, leaders of most religions. If women have so much power, how did Roe get overturned, why are conservatives trying to get rid of no fault divorce? Why aren’t there better childcare policies? As for justice system, why do thousands of rape cases never get prosecuted? Sexual harassment cases are a recent improvement. Before that it was just don’t talk about it.  What ideologues on your side fail to realize is that macho culture is what drives successful high male suicide rates, men simply don’t seek out therapy because it’s seen as a sign of weakness. The less macho posturing, see Trump/Vance/Mike Johnson, the better society for all.

And your contention that they fair better in court may be true in child custody cases, although I'm not sure it is. In criminal cases, rapes are vastly under investigated/prosecuted, sexual harassment is relatively new. So no. The safety net is available to all, that's nonsense. The problems men face are because of our longstanding societal pressure for men to be tough. They don't seek out mental health for that reason and end up committing suicide successfully at higher rates. So the problem is macho culture, not feminism, which is trying to diminish that.

Google church related crimes through history. As for the British Empire, it’s dwarfed by US military, economic and cultural influence based on a multicultural, multi religious society. I do believe the UK is having trouble assimilating Muslims, but we have no such problems here.
