I've been reading feminism and reaction to it for decades. Perry's argument is nothing new, just the latest flavor. Certainly there are bits of truth. Anyone, including men, who lived through the sexual revolution, as it is simplistically called, knows it wasn't one great, smashing success. But if one looks closely at Perry's whole thesis, they will find great gaps, particularly in her scientific claims about the differences between the sexes. We still haven't passed an ERA in America, women still don't equal men in the salary department or representation in the various halls of power. So, the Perry's of the world notwithstanding, feminism will continue, hopefully smarter.

Conservatives trying to rewrite and whitewash history. Guess what came before the sexual revolution? Religious pedophiles, domestic abuse, sexual harrasment, rape and no women in positions of power.

@jefferytokarsky1930 Nowhere near equal representation in government, religion, Fortune 500 and no ERA. Perry and her ilk are on the wrong side of history.

@jefferytokarsky1930 As I pointed out, men still dominate in nearly every aspect of society from government to religion to corporate boards rooms, so no, women didn't get what they want yet. And that genie's not going back in the box no matter how many insecure men (and Louise Perrys) it threatens.
