  1. Kennedy has some policies I like, but he's got some other issues that explain why he's independent, not a real candidate. He's soft on dictatorship in Russia and China, which flies in the face of everything US presidents of both parties have done for decades and ignores how we freed Eastern Europe, multiplying democracy on the ground. We've helped build and protect strong democracies in Japan, S Korea and Taiwan. Kennedy's go soft approach endangers those gains for democracy and world peace in the process. And then there's the question of Israel. Kennedy has been against funding Ukraine war, but then turns around and says Israel should level Gaza. That's inconsistent, but worse, it jeopardizes our international reputation for fairness, threatens to start a bigger Middle East war and is morally reprehensible. And that doesn't even cover Kennedy's anti science claims about dirty water causing gender problems, or Prozac causing shootings, or vaccines causing autism, none of which is backed by science. These are the good reasons not a single relative of his will support his candidacy.
