Corruption is rampant in the system, but while both parties are guilty, the GOP supports it as a policy. Citizens United equates money with free speech. So if you're a billionaire, you get a billion times as much free speech (access to politicians) as the average citizen. And guess who overwhelmingly supports the right of billionaires to evade taxes, regulations, antitrust law etc.
