  7. ​ @TheFragilityOfIdeas  Do a quick historical and geographical comparison of Brazil and America. What are America's reasons for being a superpower in spite of its demographics? The Chinese built our railroads, Jews built Hollywood, slaves built the South. Ex-Nazis built our space program. When I see film from around the world or listen to music, I see mostly American cultural influence, not Japanese or French or Dutch. The attack on multiculturalism comes from older countries that do not have a history of integration. I will be the first to admit to America's shortcomings, but multiculturalism is an inevitable force as the world grows smaller, more integrated. Calls for monoculture in this country, are often simply racism disguised.
