I've been watching world politics for a lifetime, South Africa, Asia, South America, Eastern Europe. Armed resistance has 'worked' lots of places, but it's never even happened in a democracy. You want us to copy Afghanistan? Are you rooting for a civil war? Semi-automatic weapons are killing an awful lot of citizens, including children just so we can be 'protected' against the FBI taking over America. Democracy is in place to protect against violence. That's history and it's worked amazing well. See Russia, China, Iran, Syria, most of the Islamic world for countries that don't have democracy.
