  1. What an absurd title? You might as well say was the American Revolution a mistake. Its history and despite conservative attempts to turn back the clock, the feminist genie is not going back in the bottle. Porn is a whole other issue and didn’t begin with the sexual revolution.

  3. Whenever there's a revolution, you can be sure there are repercussions. You can also be pretty sure there was a reason for that revolution, something Perry seems to ignore. Closeted LGBTQ, pedophile priests, domestic abuse etc is what the landscape looked like before that revolution.

  4. The sexual revolution as it’s called was a historical necessity arising from hypocritical, misogynistic sexual mores foisted on us by religion. Was it an unqualified success? Nothing is. Feminism will recover without having to follow Perry back into the patriarchy.
