  7.  @NotLazySelectivelyMotivated  As I pointed out, Trump is a disaster in foreign policy and 75% of America thinks he's untrustworthy. Add to that his traitorous attempt to overturn an election and it's clear to me he should be behind bars, not running for president. But many white Americans are afraid of becoming a minority, which gives him a good shot.

  9.  @yomamasofat77  We've had world peace, in terms of superpower conflict, since WW2. Every president since then, either party, has kept pressure on both China and Russia (both dictatorships). In that time, Russia, formerly the USSR, collapsed and Eastern Europe was freed from dictatorship. The reason Russia attacked the Ukraine is because dictatorships fear democracy. So while technically, you're probably right that Russia doesn't want to occupy Europe, but they've already shown a willingness to bully and blackmail Europe using their oil and gas supplies. As for relationships, imagine you're dealing with a bully in your neighborhood. You want to maintain a relationship, but it better be backed up by strength or he's going to bully you. That's how power politics work with dictatorships. RFK jr or Trump backing down on Ukraine goes against 75 years of American foreign policy without a hot war between superpowers. That is a serious blunder.
