  1. I like Herzog and respect him on many issues, but this criticism of Western ‘demonization’ of dictatorships in China, Russia, N Korea etc. does not fly. He says there should be a court of law to deal with these problems, as if we can just call Putin into court for throwing journalists and doctors out of 3rd story windows, or attacking Ukraine. That is simple naïveté that leads to destruction in the real world.
