  1. Commenters ready to bail on Ukraine are either ignorant of or have forgotten why every American president since Truman has pressured Russia. Reagan freed half of Europe when the Iron Curtain came down and the USSR folded. We just outspent the Russians on defense. World peace is threatened by dictatorships, especially the big ones, China and Russia. Left to bully their neighbors, I can guarantee both those countries will take advantage and we’ll have to intervene at a much higher cost than supporting Ukraine now.
