  2. I understand the impulse for Americans to say NATO is not paying their fair share. But, hey, we are talking about nothing short of maintaining world peace. We built NATO to prevent Russian aggression and a possible world war. We funded NATO and our military and helped free Eastern Europe from the USSR. This is not a Monopoly game and putting Trump in the White House on a revenge tour where he can suck up to Russia’s murderer-in-chief.
