  2.  @theredstar6493  India’s rape stats are vastly underreported, domestic rape is legal and women often bare the blame for rape. Never mind the medieval caste system. I’m not saying other countries have no problems, but India has a long way to go towards equality.

  3.  @theredstar6493  You are in denial, like many men’s rights activists the world over. Indian culture, which is a very rich one, is also an extremely patriarchal one. Comparing male rape to female rape in terms of raw numbers is a pitiful line of excuse. Feminism will continue; you can either get on the bus or get run over by it.

  5.  @anthonycosta128  Your point is entirely correct, up to a point. Until women achieve rough parity in positions of power in religion, government and business - and we are not close - feminism will have to focus on that goal.
