And some in the GOP are willing to re-elect a sociopathic conman who tried to scuttle an election and keep himself in power.   15. The GOP always wants to reduce government for one simple reason, they are the party of billionaires. They underfund the IRS because auditing the rich cost more than auditing the rest of us. They want to cut the FDA, SEC etc. because these are all the watchdogs that keep Exxon and B of A and drug companies etc from scamming or endangering civilians. Remember the Ohio train derailment, which happened after Trump cut safety regulations for rail companies?
