  2. With head gaskets it is a lot easier to do on a bench or stand. Not the constant bending or stretching to reach key parts.

All the disappearances of V8 and V6 engines are due to overly and unnecessarily strict gov regs designed to make vehicles more expensive so as to herd you onto cattle cars, aka busses and trains, and to eliminate personal mobility. After the New Palestine train wreck, you surely do not think your gov cares about the environment.

  5. Don't take my work over CCN, but you could clean up with scotchbrite and put some good sealant above and below the head gasket area to keep out the salt. No harm will come as a result.
