  1. In 1998 I went to Germany on business from Australia. Had a rental Lancia K for 10 days to drive around. 2.0L, 5 speed manual. Top speed of 180 km, and that on the autobahn. Very nice car to drive. Italy equivalent to Mercedes. Made for some fun driving the autobahn where you had Porsches doing up to 300 km/h.

  3. Bought my 1st new car in 1983, Dodge Colt, 5 spd manual, 1.3L engine. No radio or other options. Pegged the speedo many times, got 51-54 mpg on highway and 39 around city. Fantastic car, extremely economical to operate.
