  2. Yeah, but we also know the mass of this will change over time. When the weights that were stored around the world in controlled conditions were all brought back together they found that none of them were the same anymore. That's why the shift was made to counting atoms. To anyone that sees this comment, i don't remember how counting atoms works. Go look it up .
